Sure Shot II - Marksmans all round
| 8 cadets from Dagenham Squadron gained their marksman qualifications whilst on a shooting camp in Germany. The cadets travelled to Haltern Training area, where they took part in week long exercise to train to use the latest Cadet GP Rifle and get some quality range time. The cadets were joined by their counterparts from 4(OS) Gütersloh Squadron. |

 | Whilst at the camp, the cadets also took part in Navigation exercises, further expanding and enhancing their fieldcraft and navigation training. |
The navigation exercise culminated with a first exercise, featuring various scenarios for the cadets to deal with in a controlled and calm manner, drawing on their first aid training and leadership under pressure.

| With their basic rifle training and weapons handling tests completed, the cadets were on the ranges for the majority of the camp, taking full advantage of the good weather, and the excellent range facilities available. This certainly had a positive effect on the cadets, as everyone gained a marksman qualification ranging from Squadron Marksman through to Corps Marksman with Cpl Jade Wood of 2048 Sqn being the highest point scorer of the week with 105 out of 120. "The cadets really enjoyed themselves, and seemed to make the most of the quality range time that we had, it was great to see them progress as the week went on." commented Flt Lt Chris Ibbitson, London Wing Shooting Officer. | |
